- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I would suggest just filing your taxes yourself through TurboTax or something. For the "Advance" they promote at this place, you have to be approved by the "BANK" to get the advance. It doesn't matter if you were approved by Liberty Tax. So basically after you've been suckered into letting them provide you their tax services (which is $300 for me), they will tell you that you've been approved by them just to later find out that the bank can disapprove you and you don't get the advance so now you're just out of $300. You're taking a very large gamble. I'm suprised this hasn't been seen as some sort scam.By jawahn brown, January 28, 2017
